Terms & Conditions
All bookings require a completed intake form for each animal and a current vaccination certificate. If you have
been here before then we will already have your intake form on file and will advise you if an updated
vaccination certificate is required. If updating a vaccination it must be completed a minimum 10 days in advance
of arrival. This is to ensure protection.
2. All bookings during school holidays require a 25% non-refundable deposit. Changes are allowable including
cancellation up until 14 days before the commencement of the school holiday period.
3. All dogs must have a flat collar. Harnesses, check chains etc are not suitable for kennels.
4. Owner guarantees that the pet is in good health (unless otherwise disclosed below)
5. Disclosure of medical conditions, illness and or behavioural issues. This includes but is not limited to jumping or
climbing fences and aggression towards humans or other animals. These disclosures are very important so your
pet may be kept safely here at Jaimon Boarding Kennels and Cattery. Non-disclosure could result in an incident
occasioning harm or even death for which Jaimon Boarding Kennels and Cattery could not be held responsible.

6. Injury and Illness
Owner recognizes that there are inherent risks of injury or illness in any environment associated with numerous
animals whilst in daycare, boarding or grooming environments. Such risks include but are not limited to:
• Exposure to parasites, viruses and other infectious diseases passed from pet to pet or person to person
• Lacerations, sprains, strains, broken bones, paralysis, orthopeadic injuries
• Illness including diarrhea and vomiting, fatigue, dehydration, heatstroke and even death.
Knowing these inherent risks and dangers, it is understood by the owner that Jaimon Boarding Kennels and
Cattery will not be liable for any injury or illness to pet while the pet is in their care. Jaimon Boarding Kennels
and Cattery will exercise due diligence and reasonable care while caring for my pet and will not be liable for any
problems that may arise. If a dog or cat becomes otherwise ill or injured and needs immediate care, Jaimon
Boarding Kennels and Cattery will transport the pet to the nearest open and able veterinarian and attempt to
reach the owner whilst the pet is in transit. Owner understands he/she will be responsible for all charges related
to the medical evaluation and/or treatment given by the veterinarian.
7. Belongings Loss or Damage
Owner understands that any personal items/belongings brought for use during boarding or daycare may get
destroyed and are at the owner’s sole risk. Jaimon Boarding Kennels and Cattery is not responsible for items
that are lost, destroyed or damaged. All items must be labelled
8. Owner agrees that if the pet is not collected (and all additional charges paid) within 7 days of the departure date
ownership of the pet will transfer to Jaimon Boarding Kennels and Cattery who will have the right to sell,
rehome or surrender the pet privately or to an animal welfare or other organisation. We understand that life
gets in the way sometimes and changes are necessary to departure dates. Call, email, fb the necessary changes
and we will almost always be able to accommodate those changes
9. Social Media Publication
During your pets stay with us, your animal may have his or her photograph taken by a member of our staff.
These photographs may be used on our social media pages with the animals first name ONLY. If you do not wish
this to happen, please advise when booking your pet’s stay.
